It looks like it will fit any recent V6 or JTD, plus the 2.0TS 166 which use the 6-speed box.
It would even fit the Diesel 145/146.
fair enough, I don't have a lcue I thought it had to be a six speed box
I don't know what box was used in those.
But it seams that all the V6 & Diesel 145/146/147/156/166/GT/GTV/Spider use the same diff unit.
Plus the 2.0TS 166 which uses the same 6-speed box as the V6, but with a different bellhousing.
Ali to pomeni da se Q2 da zmontirat v vse JTD-je z 5 prestavami, v TS z 5 prestavami pa ne?The Q2 cannot be fitted onto Alfas with 5-speed gearboxes and that includes all TS/JTS models, as well a V6TB engined models with 5-speed gearboxes. This is because the "Fiat" transmission's ring gear is larger in dia. than the "Alfa" (V6/JTD) one, so they are not interchangeable.
An exception is the later V6TB engined models with 6-speed gearboxes, that have an "Alfa" transmission. Also in 5-speed models the 6-speed transmission can be retrofitted, along with the Q2 of course. It appears that the bellhousing pattern is the same in 5-speed and 6-speed models in V6TBs.

Best to check for yourself but looking at that Eper (great link thanks) as long as you don't have the really low power JTD (M14, 100CV 74kW) it will fit. (well its the same stock diff number as mine, whether it fits or not is another matter, I doubt Alfa would chnage the diff housing)
Mine was 116 once upon a timenow no one knows. about 150-160hp, 360-380Nm.
Yep the diff is the same. Did you need anything else other then the diff??? As you mentioned that you bought some other parts as well, but did you use them at all???
I couple of friends of mine fitted the Q2 diff. One on a 1.9 JTD GT, and on a 1.9 JTD 8V 156TI. It's getting fitted into a GT 3.2 V6 soon.
I just finish with Q2 on 164 Super V6 TB '95
All fit perfect! And there is no need of any mods.
Skratka če imate Alfo JTD 115KM z 5 stopenjskim menjalnikom - go for it!!!The car feels glued to the road, taking corners at full acceleration the ASR stays quite, where before was going crazy.
Cornering speed is much much higher you can do stuff the was impossible with the standard open diff.
I think that braking is also improved
Overall the car is what I always wanted it to be in my dreams. I am really happy with the Q2, and I would recommend it to anyone. I don't thing that there is any other modification for 350Euro that can compare to it.
My german is not very good, but the Q2 diff. fits to the 5 gear-box on the JTDs as well without a problem...as you can see from my pictures that you used in the manual
Zdej je treba it sam do mojga lokalnega mehanika in da vidmo kolk bi tole zneslo.No need to remove the gearbox because the diff is in its own separate casing. You just unscrew the driveshafts from the diff, remove the diff casing with the diff inside, swap crown gear and bearings to the Q2 and put back together.
